Finding blogspot blogs by location

blogspot location Are you having trouble finding blogspot blogs from a specific location, like from a certain country, state  or city? Or wonder if it is even possible to search for blogs according to their location?

Well, it is possible, you can browse them from your Blogger Profile page. Here is how to do it.

  1. Go to Dashboard and click View Profile to view your own Blogger profile.
  2. Notice under your name you’ll see clickable links of your city, state or country. Clicking any of the link will take you to a list of  other Bloggers that share the same city/state/country.

Blogger profile

The above method is for locations listed in your profile. How about locations that aren’t there? No problem, use this url:

http://www.blogger.com/profile-find.g?t=l

The url above (plus an extension) will do the same thing. Here  are the required extensions:

  • To search for country, append &loc0=CountryCode to the link. Replace CountryCode with a two-letter country code. Make sure you use capital letters. Example, to look for blogs from United States the link would be:
    http://www.blogger.com/profile-find.g?t=l&loc0=US
  • For state, further append with &loc1=StateName. For example to find blogs from Florida use:
    http://www.blogger.com/profile-find.g?t=l&loc0=US&loc1=florida
  • And for city, further append it with &loc2=CityName. To search for blogs from Miami, the link will be:
    http://www.blogger.com/profile-find.g?t=l&loc0=US&loc1=florida&loc2=miami

Happy profile browsing and enjoy!

I tried all three ways to search by location and not one worked. Are you sure this is correct information?

Yes it is correct, but Blogger is having a problem with this at this moment.
You can try clicking Indiana or United States in your profile page, it will give the same result. It's been reported in Blogger help forum.
I hope Blogger will get it resolved soon.

Hi jadey19,
Despite my few stints in the Philippines, Tagalog still eludes me :). I guess you better rephrase the question in English.
